Mandville Ingram and wife Lydia (Brown?) lived in
Minneapolis in the mid to late 1800's. Mandville may have been called
Mant. or M.D. and he was a buyer for Ingram, Olson and Harwood. He is
found in several city directories living at "The Holmes". Their daughter
was named Gertrude and she may have married to a Bachman. In one census,
after the death of Mandville, Lydia is living with her mother, Mrs.
Brown. Information to share on the Ingram Family, from Hadley, MA to VT

Seek
descendents of Dorothea Mueller (u with umlaut), maybe
Miller, wife of Christopher C. Mueller (Miller). This couple
are listed as living at 2226 NE Quincy St., in the
Minneapolis City Directory.
Need date that Dorothea came to the US and name of her home
village in Germany. Dorothea's place of origin is thought
to be the same as that of her niece (my aunt) Caroline
Catherine Schober, who came by herself from Germany to
Minneapolis at age 17 years in March 1887. Caroline lived
with the Muellers until her marriage to my uncle Charles
Leider in Nov.1888.
Would appreciate any info that would assist in locating
origins of these two women.

The officer who shot him was JOHN O'BRIEN.

LUCAS, James H. early photographer, 1880's in St. Paul, MN. My great
grandfather. His wife Jenny, daughters Laura, Ethel, and Hattie, (my
grandmother, born St. Paul, 1881)
I'm looking for any information available. 1880 census record
information would be great! James took pictures of Indians on the
Standing Rock Indian reservation, and we also have pictures of Chief
Joseph (marked New York Gallery, St. Paul, Minn.) Custer, Red Cloud, etc.
I doubt James took these pictures, more likely copied them from
originals, to sell. But I'm searching for anything about him.

HANSON/HANSEN CARL, NELSON, NELSEN CAROLINE
My Great Grandparents Carl Hanson and Caroline Josephine Nelson both
supposedly from Kongsvinger, Norway emigrated to the USA around 1900 with
their two minor children, Hilmer and Signe Amelia Hanson.
I do think that they Americanized their names to reflect the "son"
instead of the "sen" at the the end of their names, his name could have
also been Karl and hers Karoline.
The only sure thing I have is that Signe Amelia
Hanson was the youngest child who was born on
November 8, 1899, some say 1900. They lived in North Minneapolis until
my Grandmother divorced Carl for disappearing and she raised Hilmer who
became blind at 29 and until my Grandmother married my Grandfather
Johan Gottfrid Berggren, (which later was changed
when he received his citizenship in 1934.)
Both were from Kongsvinger, Norway and they emigrated to the us around
1900.
They had one son who died as an infant, one two daughters, Elaine and
Joyce and my father Kenneth Bergren. If anyone knows of any information
of either Carl Hanson or Caroline Nelson Hanson, could you please contact
me at barog@webtv.net. Elaine my oldest Aunt has inoperable lung cancer

Looking for information on parents and siblings of Methuen William JONES
m. 16 Jun 1886 Minneapolis MN, to Emma Antionette STEPTOE(1852 WI - 3
Sept 1892 Minneapolis MN) daughter of Thomas Jefferson STEPTOE(1812
Suffolk, EN - 26 Mar 1877 Dodge Co WI) & Anna Bellamy CLARKE(19 Jun 1813
Suffolk, EN - 1880 Wi/MN?)
Methuen William JONES was a Real Estate Broker in Minneapolis MN at the
time of his marriage, and supposedly died in a train wreck in 1910. He
was in partnership with George S. EICHMILLER, who supposedly was related,
but I have no proof. I have not been able to find his death or burial
place, and know nothing about any of his family, so any help will be
greatly appreciated. At the time of Emma's death in 1892, Methuen
William was not living with her, although they were not divorced.
Methuen William JONES & Emma Antionette JONES are my grandparents I never
knew, so really would like help in help. I do have the STEPTOE family
way back and have met some of them. but no one would tell me anything
about Methuen other then he was a "ladies man".
