St. Bonifacius now has a historical society. Meetings are held in basement of library on Kennedy Memorial Drive. They are very interested in hearing from you if you have any ideas, pictures, stories or would like to become a member of this very important cause. President Tom Logelin can be reached at e-mail address sbfs1@frontiernet.net
Established in 2003 to collect, preserve, and interpret the history of the area, the organization is independent and non-profit, and is governed by its members.
The society accepts donations of historical significance, and also needs volunteers for data entry, research, and maintaining a photography collection.
Annual membership dues are $10 per individual or family per year, $5 for persons 18 and under, $25 for non-profit groups or organizations, and $30 for a business/professional. All contributions are tax deductible.
The club meets the third Thursday of every other month in the lower level of the St. Bonifacius Library at 7:30 p.m. and also meets on select Saturdays throughout the year.
For more information, call Marilyn Maloney at (952) 938-3601, or see Tom Logelin or Kenneth Heitz.
