Darryl Hensel indexed the death records found in the courthouse at Park Rapids,
MN and used Cemetery lists complied by the Hubbard County Genealogical Society.
This list contains about 14,500 names of those who died or were buried
from the late 1800's to 1997. The list includes: Last name, First name, Middle
name (sometimes this was a maiden name), Death date, Reference (where located
in death records at the courthouse), and finally the Cemetery where burial took
place. Data was obtained from a cemetery list for records that do not list a reference. There is no death record in the courthouse for these deaths. To obtain more information email on the link below.
For those records with a reference number, you may obtain a
certified copy of the death record by writing to:
Hubbard County Recorder
The cost for a certified record is $11.00. When you write please send a
check for $11.00 and the name of the person you are looking at and the death
date and reference number (not required but helpful). The recorder will process
your request the same day they receive it.
