Jackson County, MN This page contains a list of cemeteries located in Jackson County Minnesota. This list is organized by Township. (alphabetical list) Coordinates indicate where according to the township plat the cemetery is/was located (once you have the coordinates, you can look at the maps page to find this cemetery). For many of the cemeteries, the Jackson County Historical Society has records available at the museum in Lakefield. Please contact them for more information. Status key:
I am adding individual cemetery pages (see links below in list). If you have any headstone or cemetery photos, please email them to me (my email link is at bottom of this page). If there is no cemetery page yet linked, it is because I do not yet have any photos. When I can acquire any photos, I will start individual pages as I get them. NOTE: If you wish to send me several (i.e. qty 6 or more?), it is a great help to me if the files are named in a manner that makes sorting and placement easier in my folders. For example, if you are including a .jpg photo of Joseph Prokes headstone, please name the file "prokes_joseph_headstone.jpg, or, prokes joseph headstone.jpg (etc). Filenames such as "j prokes.jpg" or "headstone of joseph son of jacob.jpg" (or similar) are more difficult for me to organize. I also prefer to put or include some brief lineage or family information with the photo(s) so please try to keep the information relative to the photos attached with this information. This saves me a lot of time when I piece everthing together. If you are unsure exactly how or what you should do if you need email these items to me, don't worry about it...I am still interested in what contributions you may still have to submit! Coleen, a resident of Alaska, also has extensive listings for neighboring counties as well as others in Minnesota, and other states as well.
