We’ll be traveling to the Buckman Community Center this evening to hear Horst Hanneken, educator, local historian, and recently published author, tell stories about the history of the Buckman community. His presentation will cover the people who made Buckman their home: including the places they lived in, worshiped in, worked in, and played in. You’ll even be able to step back in time and see Buckman as it was in the early 1900’s. Horst will also give us some personal insights into the process of writing and the publishing of local stories. We will be carpooling to this event as well.
