1857-1961, Nicollet County (Minn.). County Auditor. Saint Paul, MN: Minnesota Historical Society, 1992. 104 microfilm reels. Tax lists for the civil subdivisions of Nicollet County, recording the taxes assessed and paid on real and personal property for the years 1857, 1862-1901, and the sample years 1910-1911, 1920-1921, 1930-1931, 1940-1941, 1950-1951, and 1960-1961. Each entry gives the owner's name; school district number; amounts of various state and local taxes; total amount of taxes levied; date(s) and amount(s) of payment; receipt number; and a record of settlements, penalties, and delinquencies. The sections on real property additionally give the legal description, size, and assessed and equalized or homestead valuations of the property. The personal property sections additionally give total valuation of the property.
