Tomford, August (August Tomford Born Aug. 1, 1882 in Brewster, Mn the 4th child of Heinrich and Anna Tomford. When he was an adult he moved to Canada and died in 1914.)-

Tomford, Heinrich family (Heinrich Tomford, his second wife Augusta (Baumgard) Ponto and their two children Augusta "Gusty" and Heinrich "Hiney". Heinrich married Augusta on Jan. 19, 1894 aproximately 6 years after his first wife's death. Tomford, Ida (Ida Metta Tomford Born in Brewster, Minnesota Aug. 31, 1877She is the second child of Heinrich Tomford and Anna M. Tomford Unknown Couple (Taken by J.C. photography in George, Iowa.)-

Tomford Unknown Group (The two old men on the left are Heinrich Tomford and his brother Wilhelm. They emigrated to America together in 1863 settling first in Fulda, Mn. Later Wilhelm moved north to Granite Falls, Mn. We think that Augusta Tomford Sr. may be the woman in the darker dress next to the two kids who are probably Hiney and Gusty. Then that would make the other woman Wilhelm's wife. The other adults and kids in the picture are probably all related, some may be Pontos too because when Heinrich married the second time he had 6 kids, Augusta had 7 of her own and then they had two more.)-Submitted by Erin Andrews, evil_ash3@hotmail.com
