FRANKLIN
- SCHOENTHAL - WALPOLE
Peter WALPOLE
(married to Sarah FRANKLIN ) was in Wgtn. as early as 10 Oct 1874
when there was a death of an infant daughter. At least one son, Peter T.,
was born in Worthington in Jun 1877. Very possibly, another son,
James, was born there in 1875. Peter bought property in Worthington
from Elias and Caroline DRAKE in 1878. In 1879/80 they move to
IA, and a daughter, Nellis, is born. In 1881, my grandmother, Mary WALPOLE,
was born in WY. By 1900, Nellis was married to George SCHOENTHAL
(Schonenthal) and Mary was living with them in Worthington. George and
Nellis had one child born in Hersey in 1899 or 1900 but was not living at
the time of the 1900 census. Cannot find death record. My
grandmother married Albert WILLIAMS in 1902 in Worthington, had 9
children, and died there in 1929. Looking for additional information
on Nellis and George that may help clear up mysteries in my grandmother's
and g-grandfather's pasts. Also need to know if Peter WALPOLE
ever came back to Worthington. Thank you in advance. Denise FREDERICK
