Prairie Town Musical - August 7, 8, & 9 at 7:30 PM
at the Jon Hassler Theater
The title of this year’s musical is “Chautauqua Fever” with the challenge of the citizens of Prairie town to bring a Chautauqua to town. It doesn’t matter that they can’t spell it or even know what a Chautauqua is, but eh bottom line is that it’s something new to put a “punch” into the activities of the cultural deprived community. And as usual in Prairie Town, things don’t always go as planned, but in the end, somehow the people come through to pull of another successful celebration.
This is the 13th year for the performances with a cast of 17. Written and composed by Ron Manzow, local historian, and directed by the talented Kellie Becker, the musical promises to be one of the best!
