• The Crookston Public Library is a branch of the Lake Agassiz Regional Library System".  They have microfilmed copies of  the Crookston Daily Times beginning in Nov 1891.  Many of the smaller communities submitted news to the Times.  They also have the Polk County newspaper for some years, beginning in 1877.    The newspapers are indexed, so the library can do a search or you may wish to do it yourself if you visit the library located at:
