MARRIED MEN TOO MUCH FOR YOUNGER GENERATION

On Saturday afternoon last the baseball fans gathered at the local diamond to see the single men wallop it to the benedicts in the long awaited game.

There was much disappointment on the part of the young ladies however as their favorites went down to defeat to the (t)une of 13 to 4.

The first lead was gained by the single men when at the close of the second inning the score stood 4 to 1 in their favor.

At this juncture Dave Monson stepped in the pitchers box with Ira Rogers as catcher. Fanning was the order of the day after this with the single fellows and the inevitable restult was soon forseen.

There was a fair sized crowd out to witness the game and a good deal of interest was manifested on both sides.
