Rites Held For Mrs. King 86

Funeral
services were held Monday afternoon in John Knox
Presbyterian church, Wabasso, for Mrs. Clara King, 86,
who died Wednesday afternoon at Sunwood nursing home,
Redwood Falls, MN., where she had been a resident two
years. Rev. Robert Chalmers conducted the services and
interment was in Redwood Falls cemetery .
Clara Winslow was born September 29,
1878 in Maine, a daughter of Ezra and Frances (Reed)
King. She came to Wilder with her parents when six month
old. She was married to Hebert King in Windom in 1893
and they lived on a farm west of Redwood Falls where Mr.
King died in 1935. She left the farm in 1940 and moved
to Seaforth.
Survivors include her children,
Edwin and Clyde King of Seaforth; Mrs. Lawrence
(Elizabeth) Edwards of Whitetail, Montana.; James L King
of Wabasso; George E. King of Echo; Mrs. Henry (Lizzie)
Olson of Missoula, Montana; and Howard B. King of
Plentywood, Montana; 17 grandchildren, four great
grandchildren; a brother, Ezra Winslow of Wabasso, and a
sister Stella Miller, of Puyallup, Washington. Three
sons preceded her in death.
