THERESA KATHRYN (King) RUSSELL

 

     Theresa Kathryn King was born September 4, 1901 in rural Redwood County, Minnesota and died March 20, 2003 in Concord, California.

     She was the daughter of Bruce and Katherine Fagen King. She grew up in rural Redwood County and moved with her family to rural Plentywood, Montana., where her father homesteaded land. They returned approximately four years later to their Minnesota farm when her mother became ill.  She married George Russell Sep. 1928, in Montevideo, Minnesota. They spent most of their married life in Walnut Grove, Minnesota. Her husband passed away October, 1963.

     In 1968 she moved to Concord, California to be near her children and their family. She is survived by her two children, Lavonne Busch and Gene Russell, 5 Grandchildren, 8 Great-grandchildren and 1 Great-great-grandson. Memorial Services at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Concord, California. Interment at Redwood Falls Cemetery in Minnesota.
