To Tax-Payers.

Tax-payers of Redwood county will please take notice that the Duplicate of Taxes for the year 1871 is now in my hands for collection......

 

The undersigned, Treasurer of Redwood county, or his deputy, will be in attendance at the several towns, at the times and places named below, for the purpose of receiving taxes for the year 1871:

 

Yellow Medicine, Jan. 14, at Joseph Fortier's store.

Sandnes, Jan 15, at the house of Ingebreth Johnson

Ree, Jan 16, at the house of Ole O Lende

Cerro Gordo, Jan 18, at the house of J H Brown

Sherman, at the house of A Knipple

Sheridan, at the house of C Fisk

 

Further notice is also given that all Personal Property Taxes must be paid before the first day of February, 1872. If not paid by that date, 5 per cent will be added, and the whole amount collected by distraint, as required by law.

 

Further notice is also given that all Real Estate Taxes must be paid before March 1, 1872, and if not paid by the first day of April next, 15 cents advertising charges will be added to each description of land or town lot, as required by law.
