WHAT WE HAVE - WHAT WE WANT. -

Redwood Fall, with a population of 600, most of whom have come here within the past year, has two finely stocked stores, and another in process of erection, a drug store, a hardware store, a meat market, two hotels, several lumbar yards, a milliner shop, a boot and shoe shop, a livery stable, two blacksmith shop, two lawyers, two doctors, two saw-mills, a grist mill, one of the finest water powers in the State, a lime kiln, two organized churches (Methodist and Presbyterian), a school house, and a printing office.

We greatly need, among other things; --

A brick maker.  Parties stand ready to guarantee the sale of 500.000 brick at $10 per thousand. Several persons have this project in view. The lucky one must come soon.

Carpenters, brick-layers, stone-masons and plasterers are in great demand, and those now here have constant employment at liberal wages.

Another boot and shoe shop it is believed will meet with liberal patronage.

Though there are two physicians here, neither desires to practice, and every one will hail with joy the coming of a good physician and surgeon. A splendid field is open for occupancy by some one.

A barber is needed, and will be well patronized.

No-where in the State is there such a splendid opening for a first-class hotel as here. The proprietor of the leading one is anxious to sell, and and some one with experience and capital can make a splendid investment by coming immediately.

A baker will find liberal patronage as soon as he can commence operations.

There is a fine opening for a turner. Power can be obtained at one of the saw-mills.

A furniture establishment will pay handsomely.

A wagon maker will probably find constant and remunerative employment.

A harness maker can find a good opening here.

Manufacturers are invited to examine our water-power, and decide for themselves as to the feasibility of engaging business here.

Many of the trades now represented  will receive additions at an early day. Persons desiring to occupy this field will do well to make immediate preparations.
