Louise Anderson

Stephen, Minn. - Louise Anderson, 81, Stephen, died at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Warren, Monday, Jan. 26, 2004.

Louise Parent was born at Argyle, Sept. 22, 1922, the daughter of Omer and Arthemise (Bazinet) Parent. She grew up near Argyle and attended the St. Rose of Lima Catholic School there.

On Aug. 4, 1941, she married Ernest Anderson at Argyle. The couple settled east of Stephen and raised their family there. Louise worked at Artic Cat in Karlstad and was also a baby-sitter for the Sinclair girls. Ernest died in 1998.

Louise was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary and belonged to the Happy Corner Homemakers.

Family members include a daughter, Mary Lou (Ron) Wesolowski, Warroad; a son, Curtis D. (Mary) Anderson, Sioux Falls; four grandchildren, Rick (Candace) Nelson of Bismarck; Darian (Jenny) Wesolowski, Phoenix, Ariz.; Joleen (Matt) Hartman, Cheyenne, Wyo., and Megan Weslolowski, Fargo and her fiance Kelly Haug; seven great grandchildren, Cayla, Chasidy, Hunter, Ryan, Jacob, Savanna, and Alexander; two brothers, Dale (Ralphine) Parent of Minneapolis, and Donald Parent of Grand Forks; and two sisters, Gloria (Gordon) Mickelson, Stephen; and Joyce (Bill) Bulger, Thief River Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest; four brothers, Larry, Roger, Francis and Rolland; adn three sisters, Darlene, Audrey and Diane.

Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 30, 2004 at 11 a.m. in St. Stephen Catholic Church, Stephen. Interment was in the St. Stephen Cemetery. Rev. Vincent Miller presided.

Pallbearers were Dean Anderson, Alan Mickelson, Mike Szklarski, Ralp;h Krolak, Greg Lubarski and Rick Nelson.
