Mrs. Margaret Fitzpatrick died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter Mr. & Mrs. Ben Balderston, in Humboldt, MN at about 2 o'clock Wednesday morning of this week. She had been ill for about a month. Death was due to a heart weakness. The deceased was born in Dufferins Creek, Ontario, Canada on July 31, 1846. She was married in Ontario to the late Albert Fitzpatrick, in September of 1866. She came with her husband to St. Vincent where she lived, except for short visits to daughters at various places until she died.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick is survived by eleven sons and daughters. They are: Wm. Fitzpatrick in California, Fred in Michigan, Charles in Washington, Herbert in Oregon, Albert and Richard in St. Vincent, MN, Mrs. Stone, Williston, ND, Mrs. McIvor, Lancaster, MN, Mrs. Fox, Elbow Lake, Mrs. Ben Balderston, Humboldt, and Mrs. E. J. Finney, St. Vincent.
The funeral services will be conducted at Humboldt, by Rev. Mc Guire of the local Community Church a 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The remains were laid to rest in the St. Vincent cemetery beside that of her husband who pre-deceased her by four years. The choir sang the following songs, the first of which was the deceased favorite Hymn, "No Disappointments In Heaven", "Jesus Lover My Soul", Just As I Am Without One Plea", and "Rock Of Ages". The pall bearers were: George Finney, Emory Finney, Hans Maxwell, Walter Herron, William Sylvestor, and John McCollum. Margaret Berry was an American.
