Violet Pearl McIntyre Cederholm
Violet attended school at Minto, ND, and Williams, MN and attended college at Duluth, MN and Des Moines, IA. She married Jonas Cederholm at Baudette, MN on 22 Dec 1925 and they made their home at Northcote for a time and in 1930 moved to Hallock.
She was employed at the Sterling Store in Hallock for many years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Hallock, and active in womens circle, a member of Royal Neighbors of America, youth director of Modern Woodmen, and a member and a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary. She also enjoyed doing handwork, crafts and sewing.
Family survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Kaye Cederholm and Donald and Shirley Cederholm, Hallock; and Harvey and Lois Cederholm, South Haven; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a brother, Frank McIntyre, Paramount, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jonas; three brothers, Alex, Donald, and George, and four sisters, Annie, Ida, Grace and Elvira.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, 10 November 1994 at 11 am at First Presbyterian Church at Hallock with Rev. David Endriss officiating and interment at Greenwood Cemetery at Hallock. Music for service was provided by Gloria Swanson, organist. Pallbearers were Kenneth Berg, Duane Nordling, David Sorenson, Lloyd Johnson, Dan McKinnon and Robert Cameron. Arrangements were with Hughes Funeral Home of Hallock.
