Wesley G. Clow

Wesley G. Clow, 85, of Litchfield, MN, formerly of Las Vegas, NV, died on November 2, 1998.

Wesley was born in the Orleans, MN area, the son of Cleve and Estella (Lyons) Clow. He attended school in Orleans, MN. He worked for C. L. Diamond of Humboldt, MN, for nine years before he entlisted in the U.S. Army on January 9, 1942. He received an honorable discharge from Fitzsimmons General Hostpital in Denver, CO, on October 26, 1945. He was owner/operator trucker for Interstate Express after which he moved to Kennedy, MN, and worked for Kiene Farms. From there, he moved to St. Paul, MN, and went to work for H.M. Smyth Printing Co. After retirement he moved to Las Vegas, NV.

Survivors include his three stepchildren: James (Cindy) Clow, of Las Vegas, NV; Carol (Joe) Wegleitner of Bertha, MN; Judy (George) Kitidif of St. Petersburg, FL, seven stepgrandchildren, a brother, Willard (Irene) Clow of Aztec, NM; a sister, Ethel Christenson of St. Paul, MN, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Willis of Aztec, NM, and Roy of Lancaster, MN; two sisters: Evelyn (Clow) Ulman of St. Paul, MN; and Charlotte (Clow) Viereck of Litchfield, MN.

Graveside services were held November 10 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Tim Lundeen, presiding. Special music was by Galen Nordin. Interment was in Riverview Memorial Garden Cemetery at Lancaster, MN.
