Louis Larenson had the misfortune of dislocating his shoulder.Dr. Lockwood replaced it.
Jerome Benson and Andy Eklund have gone out to the Roseaucountry on an extensive hunt. They have taken a boat and a complete campingoutfit, and now the "honkers" and ducks will suffer.
P. McGill, Drayton, has bought out the barber businessof J. W. Sharkey of this place.
Mr. and Mrs. John Thompson, Mrs. W. H. Alley of this placeand Miss Carter, Northcote, left for Los Cruses, NM, where they will spendthe winter.

Mrs. Marie Peterson, former West Hotel owner, and FerdieHenrich, also of Hallock, were married at Crookston. Mr. and Mrs. JamesSwanson, Hallock, were witnesses.
Harry Griffen, St. Vincent farmer, suffered an accidentwhen he became entangled in the conveyor of a potato machine. He is a patientat the local hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Peterson returned from a two week tripeast when Mr. Peterson went to Atlantic City to attend the national conventionof the insurance concern he represents. They visited with Rev. and Mrs.Leonard Anderson, former pastor of the Mission church here who are now residingin New Jersey. They were accompanied on their return trip by Janet, 13 yearold daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Vilen who has been spending the summerwith Rev. and Mrs. Anderson.
Frederick Wickie has purchased the farm owned by Mrs. A.W. Shaleen (Margaret Walner) commonly known as the Walner farm.
Ernest Gumbo, St. Vincent, slipped, tripped or fell ona register. He broke both bones in his leg.
A wedding took place Sept. 10 when Della Erickson, daughterof Mr. and Mrs. Marhias Erickson, Hallock, and Vincent Dahlgren, son ofMr. and Mrs. Garfield Dahlgren, Kennedy, exchanged vows.

A baby boy was born to Bruce and Michelle Steen, Lancaster,Sept. 21. He has been named Michael Bruce.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Gustafson, Hallock, celebrated their65th wedding anniversary. They were married Sepot. 22, 1909 in Winnipeg.
Mary Docken, Barb Mortenson and Jane Lundberg have beenselected as candidates for 1974 homecoming queen at Kennedy High School.
Keith and Steve Lindgren, Larry Peterson and Kenny Hultgren,all members of the Kennedy Archery Club, returned from a bow and arrow huntingtrip to Montana.
Classmates of Noelle Rundquist, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.Palmer Rundquist, gave a bridal shower for her at the Sion Lutheran church.She is the bride-to-be of Richard Swanson, Lake Bronson.

John T. Anderson has been accepted into the U.S. Air ForceAcademy's Cadet Wing as a member of the Class of 1993. He is the son ofMr. and Mrs. John W. Anderson, Hallock, and a 1989 graduate of Hallock HighSchool.
Della and Paul Miles, St. Paul, drove to Kennedy to pickup Ella Swanson and take her on a trip west with them.
Debby Murray and Dustin Weleski were crowned homecomingking and queen at Kittson County North.

Dean and Mary Carlson, Lancaster, are the parents of ababy girl born Sept. 22. She has been named Sondra Renee. Paternal grandparentsare Duane and Darlene Carlson, Lancaster.
