Robert William Ferguson was born at Hallock Sept. 10, 1935 to Melfred and Mildred (Curtis) Ferguson. He graduated from Hallock High School in 1953. Robert enlisted in the U.S. Air Force on Nov. 23, 1954 and served until Nov. 22, 1962. After completing his military service he began working for E.G.G., a nuclear weapons research facility in Nevada. Bob later became the operations manager at the facility and retired from there in 1995.
