She attended school and grew to womanhood in the Lancaster-Orleans and Northcote areas. In 1910 she moved with her parents to the Humboldt area where she made her home until her marriage. She married Henry V. Herron 22 May 1927 at Humboldt. After marriage the couple farmed in the Humboldt area (Clow Twp.) until 1938 when they moved to the Donaldson community, where they farmed in Davis Twp. until the death of Mr. Herron in 1962. In 1966 she sold her farm to Jim Tunheim and moved to Hallock. She had been a resident of the nursing home since April of 1986. She is survived by seven nephews and eight nieces including Maurice Hugill of Minneapolis and Mildred Turner of Hallock. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, and six brothers.

Funeral services were held 11 Jan 1989, 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Hallock, with Rev. Jeffrey DeYoe officiating. Interment was held in the Greenwood Cemetery, Hallock.

Pallbearers were Roy Clow, Albert Streed, Harold Younggren, LeRoy Turn, Clem Dziengel and Don Murray.
