Maurice Hugill indicated that Joseph and May (spelling difficult to read) were Mary Davidson's parents but she was raised by her Aunt and Uncle as her Mother died at birth. She was 5 1/2 years old at this time but maybe she was younger than she claimed.
Joseph Yougle (English version of Hugill at that time) was 26 and Mary Rachel Davidson was 21 at the time of their marriage which was witnessed by John Davidson and Sarah Ann Farrer.
To any Clergyman in communion with the Church of England to whom these presents shall come.
