Tredenick was a school teacher. She was also active in many social causes
and church groups. She was interested in art and painted many lovely pictures
after her retirement. She ws interested in ancestry. She was the oldest
of five and did most of the work on the farm. She completed teacher training
at Prince of Wales College in Charlettown and began her teaching career
in the O'Leary area. Most of her teaching career was in the O'Leary Public
School where she retired in 1964.
