The Class of 1966 and 1967
The only National Merit Scholar finalist was Rhoda Symingtonfrom the Class of 1967. Carolyn Wiese was a commended student that year.
During the mid 1960s, Humboldt had a very high percentageof college bound students. Popular college choices were the University ofNorth Dakota, Concordia, the University of Minnesota, Bemidji State Collegeand Moorehead State College.
