Waseca County History
|
|
Minnesota was organized as a territory
in 1849. An early event was the Indian Treaties at
Traverse des Souix and Mendota in the summer of
1851. Waseca County was formed February 27, 1857
and was attached to Steele County for judicial and
other purposes until August 12, 1858.
