Washington.  Looking for information on additional brothers and  

sisters.  Also need information on John's parents.  Willing to share  

any information that I have.

Still seeking a local genealogist to check the Buffalo Journal newspaper (on microfilm?) for April 4, 1905, or later issues near that date, for marriage info on my grandfather, George A. Bigelow to Elsie C. Hedstrom of Buffalo, MN. They took out a marriage application on April 4, 1905. I need the name of the newspaper in the Buffalo, MN area in 1905 that would have recorded marriage information for George A. Bigelow to Elsie C. Hedstrom on or soon after April 4, 1905 (the day that they filled out the marriage application). The Hedstrom family lived in Buffalo, MN at this time, and George and Elsie also lived there after they married. If Buffalo had a local paper at the time, then that is the one I need! Otherwise, give me the next most logical choice. Also, any geneologists that would be willing to photocopy the microfilm for me, let me know what you charge. Thanks. Peter PUTMAN/PUTNAM and Patience Hannah GODFREY homesteaded in Silver Creek township. Wright Co., MN., approx. 1856. They lived in that area until about 1890 when Peter died. Patience died approx. 1895. Their children were: Charles, Sophronia, Mary, Julia, Viola, George. There is no death record for Peter PUTMAN/PUTNAM in Wright Co. They lived  in Brown Co OH & Parke Co IN before moving to Wright Co MN. 

They were living in Wright Co MN 16 Feb 1877 when they were involved in a land indenture between 

them & their daughter Sarah B. GURLEY of Parke Co IN.

I found Wm, Clarissa and their dau Emma Lizetta in the 1880 census in McLeod Co MN.  I have nothing further.

Siblings included Florence(Farnham) Kathryn, John lived mostly in MN. Children included John, Ruth, & Heloise, lived in Virginia May have been in military, possibly WWl, soldiers are mentioned at his funeral in Rockford.

I am searching for a record of my great-grandmother’s birth. Her name was Bertha Martha ROWE. Family history says that she was born in Howard Lake, Wright County, MN, on 12 October 1883. She is the daughter of Willard Francis ROWE and Sarah Maria EDDY who were married on 06 September 1882 in St. Paul, MN. Willard Francis ROWE died on 19 July 1909. Sarah Maria (EDDY) ROWE died on 27 November 1936 in Albert Lea, Freeborn County. MN. Bertha Martha ROWE married Ernest Joseph WILLOUGHBY on 31 December 1909 supposedly in Poughkeepsie, NY. My grandparents, Edward & Eva Elizabeth KLEIN attended St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Monticello. My dad Carroll James Klein, b. 4-10-1918 d. 4-9-1975 had his first communion there and probably was baptized there. My great grandparents John & Maria PETERS probably belonged to. I have begun trying to trace my family (Mothers side) back, the farthest back I have found was a Fred Hintz (sometimes spelled Hienz, and a few others) and his wife Willimena (Unknown last name, except for my grandmother, thier Grand daughter, who thinks it is Brobenski, uncertain the spelling) They were in Howard Lake in 1920’s. Charles M FORD died 22 Apr 1876 in Monticello, MN. I would like a death record, obit, funeral record and/or cemetery record to document this. I don’t know where he’s buried, but I would like to know!! I am also looking for his wife, Philoma McKENNEY FORD who was still alive when Charles died. but I haven’t been able to find her since.
