Cumberland Ridge Presbyterian Cemetery

also known as Dean Cemetery or Camp Ground

Jefferson Township, Section 34 North

Andrew County, Missouri

Directions: From Savannah limits, go south on US 71 for 2.5 miles.  Turn right (west) into the first private driveway south of Cumberland Ridge Church and drive 0.2 miles.  Cemetery is on the south side of the road, which is actually a dirt and grass lane.  Not advisable to drive this in wet weather.  Cemetery was totally overgrown, but cleaned in June of 2005 by a 4H group.  (See photographs listed by rows.)

Note: The cemetery is full of poison oak and poison ivy.

Great God, and wilt thou condescend
To be my Father and my friend?
I a poor child, and Thou so high,

Art Thou my Father? Canst Thou bear
To hear my poor imperfect prayer?
Or stoop to listen to the praise
That such a little child can raise?

Art Thou my Father? Let me be
A meek, obedient child to Thee;
And try, in word, and deed, and thought,
To serve and please Thee as I ought.
