My gg-grandparents were Frederick Wyatt and Sarah Davidson/Davison, born in Orange County, NC. The Davidson/King/Wyatt lines were intermixed from Orange County, North Carolina, immigrating to Tennessee (just accross the border from Kentucky), and then to Andrew County, MO. I have not been able to locate where the Davidson's were in Tennesse (possibly in Kentucky) yet. My family tree is located at: http://wc.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=janebrett&id=I1408
I believe that the Edward Davison/Davidson that left a will (probate info below) dated 1843 is the Edward "Ned" Davison/Davidson in my line. Due to his age and those involved in the will, due to a book at the Andrew County Genealogical Society (named below) naming David Davidson as coming to Andrew County in 1837 with his sons, James, Edward "Ned", and Anderson, and due to a handwritten family tree of the Wyatt line passed down with David Davidson and Elizabeth King and their children listed as those below. In the probate record of Edward with a will date of 1843, but not a death date, it mentioned those that purchased his land and they were first cousins through his mother and children of or husbands of the children of John King and Rebecca Rainey, except for Anderson Davison, his brother, and Mary Davison. The executor of his estate, Benjamin Holt, would have been the husband of his first cousin, Sarah Elizabeth King. I wonder if the Mary Davison mentioned is Edward's wife.
