The Leroy Jeffries Photo Collection
Cassville, Barry County Missouri
Mr. Leroy Jeffries was one of the first merchants in Monett and settled
there in 1882 when it was still Plymouth. He was also a Barry
County official and lived in Cassville from 1914 to 1922. The Jeffries
material includes several interesting photos
of early Monett and Cassville.
This collection is in the possession of Bob

others are unknown. Jeffries was county clerk from 1914 to 1922. |

Recorder of Deeds Cecil Long and his deputies, Blanche Snider and
Ruth Sullivan. Cecil Long married Trink Jeffries. He was Recorder
of Deeds from 1934 to 1950 and State Representative from Barry County in
the 1950s. |
