Black School

This is the old Black school that was situated out of Cassville on Y Highway. On 10-1-07 it made the move to it's new home at the Barry County Museum grounds. This photo is of the school traveling south on Main Street, you can see the courthouse in the background. Plans are to rebuild the roof and bell tower, restore the building then furnish the school with items that have been donated or loaned to the museum.
