INDEPENDENCE SCHOOL
The above photograph shows the 6th, 7th and 8th Grade
classes at Independence School which was located approximately three to
four miles southwest of Exeter, Missouri. There was no date on the
photo but it is estimated that it was taken 1890 - 1914 . The teacher
is Harris Montgomery, uncle of Carl Montgomery who submitted the photo
to us. Carl graduated from Exeter High School in 1952. If you can identify
