The bodies of soldiers and sailors who died overseas cannot be returned for the present. The United States is not prepared to bring them back at this time. Congress will, in all probability, provide for a Field of Honor in France with a view to making it the most beautiful cemetery in the world and to be used entirely as the resting place of the bodies of American soldiers and sailors.

Later on, those who do not desire to have the bodies of their dear ones buried in the Field of Honor can have such bodies brought back to the United States at the governments expense, but this will not be done until after all wounded soldiers and sailors have been returned.

Further information can be obtained from your congressman or United States Senator.
