Research Note: Cecil was a very early resident of Wheaton, MO. Moving there in about 1912 with his widowed mother and four sisters that he raised. He and Partner Jess Evans owned the Daugherty and Evans Real Estate company located on Main street in Wheaton. They continued this real estate business until about 1945 when he moved his office to Neosho, MO. Cecil was a long time member of Wheaton Comfort Lodge #533. His Grandfather, Josiah Daugherty, and seven others established the Washburn Prairie Church in Barry County. 


Cecil Daugherty is the man on the right in the photo and it was taken at Camp McArthur, Texas. The other man is unknown to the submitter.
