Death Certificate Number: Resource: The Wheaton Journal, and Family Research Note: Dr. O. S. McCall was a practicing physician in McDonald and Barry Counties from 1895 to his 1952 retirement. In 1921 he built the McCall Hospital on Main street in Wheaton, MO. He also acquired controlling interest in the Bank of Wheaton which he operated until his retirement. |

Married: Ruth Berryhill, dt. of Jefferson Davis and Clara Elizabeth (Hancock) Berryhill Married When & Where: Jan. 17, 1921, Bentonville, Benton Co., AR Father: James Harvey [Simpson] Mooney, born Washington, Franklin Co., MO Mother: Ella Mae Pease, born Gage Co., NE Military Information: Army Medical Dept., Private Death Certificate Number: 68 0000153 Resource: Family information, cemetery stone Research Note: He enlisted at age 17 sometime after September of 1917 and lied about his age, giving himself the age of 18, so that he could serve. He was trained as a nurse in Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indianapolis, IN and never saw any overseas duty. He was scheduled to go to France when the war ended. In the mess hall photo he is seated on the second table from the back and is the second person from the right on the side facing the photographer. The photo of him in the boat and fishing was taken with a buddy - name unknown. He is the one in the front of the boat. |
