Research Note: Tarvin - Rice Mr. James W. rice of Muncie, who has been for sometime with the Army in France, arrived in Joplin, Saturday June 7th where he was met by Miss Medah Tarvin also of Muncie, and together they went to Carthage and were quietly married at the court house by Rev. R.J. Borguin of Wheaton. The Wheaton Journal, June 6, 1919

Mrs. J. B. Jefferson of near this city received a letter Monday from her brother, Willie Robberson, who is in France with the A. E. F. The letter was dated July 23. He said he liked France very well but did not like England very well. They were in England a short time on their way over.  Aug. 22, 1918, Cassville Republican


J. B. Jefferson northeast of this city says that they have received word from Willie Robberson who is in France informing them that the report that he had been wounded was in error. Dec. 26, 1918, Cassville Republican

Sept. 4, 1919, Cassville Republican - Name Added to List - The name of Robert Otto Suttles is to be added to the Barry County Causality list compiled by the State Historical Society and published two weeks ago in the county papers.

Robert Suttles of Leann served in the 7th Division and lost his arm in action on the 6th of October 1918.

The REPUBLICAN has sent his name to the State Historical society to be added to the list.
