Research Note: Leo's death place is a bit uncertain as he was doa at St. Joseph Hospital, in Kirkwood, St. Louis Co., MO. His residence was House Springs, Jefferson Co., MO, so one can make the assumption he either died there or on the way to the hospital. He had a twin brother named Cleo.

Research Note: First Sergeant Hook Francis, who returned from overseas sometime ago and had been stationed at Ft. Dix, N.J. has received his discharge and arrived home in time to spend Christmas with his wife and Home folks. Although Hook received a number of medals in the European Theater of war he is proudest of the one he received when he was discharged, - The Ruptured Duck!
