1. Please do not post names that are not connected to Barry County. If they lived in Barry County or were buried in Barry County then you can submit the information here.

2. The note area can be used to add things that might not be written on documents.

3. If unknown - simply use unknown in the blank.

4. Use standard English and standard abbreviations. Old documents will have the old version of the state abbreviations because of the time period that they were filed. Please use the modern day usage, because we are going to chart these on web pages. See examples below for more information.

5. I will not accept entries that I can not understand. Retyping information you submit creates a lot of unnecessary work. Be accurate and do not change the information that is written on documents.
