 Cemetery Before Restoration

Located on the Johnny Anderson farm on Farm Road 2255. Permission is needed from the landowner as well as directions to the cemetery. You must travel through field and there are no roads to the location.

Jacob Boffman Son was born March 25, 1831 in Platte Co., MO. He was the son of Samuel Son. Jacob married Emerine Hailard Pedigo August 8, 1854 in Barry Co. To this union the following children were born:

Martha Jane b. 26 Apr 1861
Lavina Angeline b. 12 Nov 1863
Sarah Josephine b. 30 Sep 1865
Florence Bell b. 2 Nov 1868
Joannah b. 5 Apr 1872
Johnnie b. 3 Jun 1876
Edward Jacob b. 2 Jan 1878
Jenny b. 1 Jul 1880
James b. 26 Jun 1881
Homer Boffman b. 18 Mar 1883

Martha Jane Son married Charley Crain, March 20, 1881. They had a son, James P. Crain, born January 7, 1882. The boy died February 21, 1883, the same day as his grandfather, Jacob B. Son. They are buried next to each other in the Anderson Cemetery.
