On October 31, 1928, in Douglas, Nebraska, she was united in marriage to Marion Cecil Hull who preceded her in death on April 2, 1986, after almost fifty-eight years of marriage. In 1981, they moved to Purdy, Missouri, where they farmed until his death in 1986. Vivian then moved to Wheaton, Missouri, where she retired. In 2001, she moved to Noel to live with her son and his wife. |

Lipe, of this city, died at an early hour, Wednesday morning at the home of his grandson, Geo. Lipe, near McDowell, at the age of 92 years. He had lived for several years with W. H. Lipe in this city. The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon and interment was made in the Arnhart Cemetery. He had lived in Barry County since 1869, and has one son living, Joseph Lipe, who resides east of Purdy. Phyllis' Note: On the MO Archives web site his death certificate is indexed as Lype.
