Bethel Cemetery, Barry Co., MO

Note from Jay Trace - June 2007 These are photos of the recent damage done to some stones at Bethel Baptist Cemetery. The cleanly broken one is for Charles A. Lee. The one broken with the skid marks is for Eddie H. Moudy. The toppled one that was halfway returned to normalcy is Theodosia Kennedy. I feel worst about Eddie Moudy, as I dug it up, and it had been preserved all of this time, and now it's broken. I had heard that a truck had gotten stuck out there, and I know a bunch of brush was hauled off, but I went out there and checked out the whole place and saw NO damage from fallen limbs. Gerald Haddock's Researcher Submission	Directions: From Monett intersection of hwy. 37 & 60 - go south 3 miles on 37 to county road BB. Turn left, go about 2.7 miles to a sign for Bethel Baptist Church, turn right at sign off BB, cemetery is 1/4 mile down the road across from Bethel Baptist Church. Nicely kept & fenced.
