SSW: Nancy Jean - Inscription: "SGT US ARMY VIETNAM" - Research Note: James Unwin, Jr., 59, of Aurora, died July 30 at his home. Mr. Unwin was born July 2, 1945, in Long Beach, California, the son of James Unwin Sr. and Dorothy Crochunis Unwin. He was an Army veteran and a diesel mechanic. His wife, Nancy Unwin, survives. Additional survivors include one son, James Unwin of Springfield; one daughter, Heidi Lyons of Exeter; three sisters, Mary McDonald of the state of Oregon, Dorothy Hatchet of San Diego, California, and Mary Petki of Long Beach, California; and three grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, August 3, at Peterson Chapel in Aurora. Burial will be in Calton Cemetery in Pleasant Ridge under the direction of Peterson Funeral Home of Aurora.
