Allred in household #10 -11, he was age 44, widowed, a farmer born in TN with TN born parents. This stone is off its base and flat on the ground - but was repaired during the cleanup. Donna's Note: He was a son of Solomon and Aneretta Allred. His brother was Solomon A. BANKS, William Henry Dec. 14, 1854 Dec. 27, 1931 Research Note: The online obit reads that William Henry Banks was born Dec. 14, 1854 and died Dec. 27, 1931 at the home of his sister in Exeter. Age 77 years and 13 days. He was united in marriage to Haney Hart in 1888 who preceded him in death in March 1928. To this union was born one son, Arthur who also preceded him Aug. 20, 1931. He was later married to Mrs. Lucy Warner. In the last days of his illness he assured relatives that he was ready to go. The stone is broken off the base. - Donna's Note: In the online obit Dallas is listed as born June 15, 1859 and died Jan. 17, 1829, according to the death certificate the death date is Jan. 17, 1929. It lists his parents as William Box and Elizabeth Green. It reads that he was born June 15, 1859 and not in 1888 as the stone reads. Dallas A. Box was born at Cassville, Missouri, June 15, 1859 and died January 17, 1829. Age 69 years and 7 months. He professed his faith in Christ at an early age and lived a devoted Christian life. He was married to Martha Caroline Higgs in 1881. To this union six children were born, two having died in infancy. The surviving children are: Mrs. Stella Graber, of Pierce City, Mrs. Annie Montgomery, of Bartlesville, Okla., Clarence of Pierce City and Lester of Web City. His first wife having passed away many years ago, he was married in 1907 to Mrs. Malinda Linebarger, who survives him. - Another Photo Photos

Research Note: Hiram Cooper was born in Alabama, March 1, 1836, died Aug 25, 1916, at the age of 80 years, 5 months and 24 days. At the age of 11 years he moved with his parents to Maysville, Ark. After reaching manhood he moved to Madison County where he was married to Sarah Jeffries. To them were born five children, four daughters and one son. The wife and daughters are dead. He was a farmer, married, Minnie Gurley was his wife's name. The cause of death was unknown to the doctor. History of being a syphilitor?. He had just returned from insane hospital. H. H. Holladay - Soon I will meet you by the river in the sweet celestial land and with joy our hearts will quiver as we clasp each others hands." - Research Note: Goodspeed's History, reprint, page 72: "On Monday, July 10, 1876, Dr. J. A. Holladay was arrested on a criminal charge at Corsicana, and set out under charge of Bud Crawford toward his house. When near the house Crawford ordered his prisoner to halt, but upon the latter's refusal Crawford fired, killing the doctor who was buried on July 12. Crawford fled. Sometime before the murder the unfortunate physician pointed to his pistol, stating that he would send himself or somebody else to hell before daylight. Crawford was subsequently captured, but while awaiting trial died in jail at Springfield." - New Stone - Another Photo Photo
