Research Note: Died in Cherryvale, Kansas, July 12, 1905, Mrs. Nannie Murphy, wife of John Murphy, who at one time lived in this vicinity, and was loved by all who knew her. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wash Sanders. She was born Sept 21, 1887, being 17 years, 9 months, and 21 days old. She leaves a husband, two children, mother, three sisters, four brothers and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her death. She was a member of the church and lived a consistent Christian life. The remains were brought here and laid to rest in Clark Cemetery, after funeral services conducted by Rev. Combs. - July 22, 1905, Saturday, Cassville Democrat |

SSW: Nannie J. - Research Note: The online obit for H. S. Rhea, is in error since his stone clearly states his name as Halleck M. Rhea. It reads that he died Sunday at his home west of Purdy following several weeks sickness of lung trouble. The deceased was 54 years of age a native citizen of Barry County and one of the most highly respected of men. The deceased was married to Nannie Woodward December 21, 1884.
