Inscription: "The Vacant Place Cannot Be Filled" - Research Note: I believe this person is Easter Catherine Ellis, first wife of Francis Marion Ellis. I have not been able to ascertain her maiden name, but the couple are found in the 1860 census in McMinn Co., TN and in the 1870 & 1880 censuses in Crane Creek Township, Barry Co., MO. Francis M. Ellis married Cassie Vauslorn, July 12, 1900, in Barry County.
