On Dec. 20, 1964, in Hollister, he was united in marriage to Lois Wanda Inmon, who preceded him in death in 1988. He was also preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Stanley Blankinship and one sister, Thelma Brigman. During World War II he was in the United States Army in the infantry, serving from Dec. 10, 1942, until Jan. 24, 1946. He spent most of his life in Barry County and worked at Forest Products in Cassville several years. In 1967 he moved to the Branson area and was employed as a Security Officer at Silver Dollar City, retiring in 1983. |

Another Photo - Research Note: His name was probably Minor Boucher. According to a Boucher descendant of this line (not a direct descendant), Minor or Miner died at about the age of 2 years. In the 1880 census he was listed as 7/12 and born the previous October. Census date was June 8, 1880. Minor was the son of Leonidas T. and Mary E. (Wilson) Boucher. By 1900 they left Barry Co. for Lawrence Co., then went to Walla Walla Co., WA, and after Leonidas died, Mary went to Humboldt Co., CA with one of her sons. |

Bill retired in 1985 as a Supervisor with the Commercial Vehicle Division of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop D. 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge, currently a member of the Fellowship Lodge #345 A. F.&A.M. of Joplin, and the Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Joplin. Bill married Maleta “Pat” Bishop January 24, 1942 in Cassville, Mo. Survived by his wife and two daughters. |
