The Concord Cumberland
Presbyterian Church, organized in 1864, was located on these same grounds.
The land for the church and cemetery was given by Elias Ferguson and Mr. and
Mrs. Arch Herrell. The original church building was hand hewn logs.
Timber on the site, was cut, hewn and put into place by the members of
the church. Services were held at the Concord Presbyterian Church until about
1925. This church later burned.

1.7 miles on to Farm Road 2165. About 3.2 miles later Farm Road 1040 joins and
runs with Farm Road 2165, go about 1/10 miles and FR 2165 turns South but
continue on with FR 1040. In about 1/10 miles there is a dirt road on the right,
turn there into the woods and go another 1/10 miles to the cemetery.
