The Henry Eidson farm was located southwest of Purdy and northeast of Joys Spring in the NW 1/4 of section 16, township 24N range 28W.

According to the 1860 census Henry and wife Sarah Eidson had two daughters, Mary age 8 and Susan age 5.

In April 2004, Ted Roller, Erik Roller and Jack Fly located the cemetery in the middle of a field. One stone could be pieced together. Two bases were found and fragments from at least two other stones were found scattered
over a large.
