Cemetery is not fenced and cattle have been running in it. Stones are broken and on the ground. There are probably 30 to 35 graves here. Many have field stones and are unmarked.

Seligman - From Highway 37, turn south onto FR 1062. At the T, turn left (east) on FR 2280. On the right is the Seligman Sewage system. The cemetery is behind the right hand corner of the pond.

Christian Ellinger Fawver, born in Frederick County, Virginia, and his wife Mary Ann (Spiegal), Seligman area pioneers, are buried here along with other members of their and other early families. Christian built a grist mill near Seligman in 1882. It stayed in the family for nearly 100 years. After Mary died, Christian married Lucy Morgan on February 12, 1888.

Christian and Mary Ann had the following children: Joseph C. Fawver, Christian C. Fawver, John M. Fawver, Mary Ann (Fawver) McCollum, Lydia V. (Fawver) Collier, and Amanda C. (Fawver) Morgan.

The only stone standing is that of Christian Ellinger Fawver. The others are scattered around in pieces. Many are laying up against a tree. Since there is no way to determine where the burials are, the following is a alphabetical list of the stones that have been located. The cemetery is grown up, and it is quite a hike to get to it.
