Restoration and Photos courtesy of Marc & Pat Schwartz The Haddock Cemetery of southern Barry County can be located by taking Highway 112 south out of Roaring River. At Eagle Rock, turn right on Highway 86. Travel on Highway 86 until you reach Farm Road 1180. Take this road for 2 miles, and then turn left on Farm Road 2282. Drive down this winding, dirt road for .9 mile. At that point, there is a circle drive on the right. It leads to a new home that has cedar siding. The cemetery is in the woods about 150 feet behind the house. The people who own the land (Marc & Pat Schwartz) have cleared brush from the cemetery and removed leaves from the area around the graves! They have also cleared a path to it, and they placed rail fencing around the corners. It is in excellent condition, thanks to a huge effort by the new owners of the farm! Note from the owners:
"We have the Haddock Cemetery on our land. My husband, Marc Schwartz has
cleaned up more of the cemetery and moved the fence to include all of the graves
that he could see. He also made 16 crosses and put them up where there were
just field stones or just the indentations in the ground where the graves were.
He left the field stones too.
